Unique pottery fest to be held in Pune on Oct 15-16
Pune : Art enthusiasts in Pune will get a chance to witness the much acclaimed Pottery Festival called the ‘Pune Potters’ Market 2022’, which will be held in the city.
The unique festival curated by IGA Galleria is supported by Bhoomi Pottery and will be held over 2 weekends on October 7, 8 and 9 and October 14, 15 and 16 at The Pavilion on Senapati Bapat Road.
The fest will showcase some of the best works in pottery, which is one of the oldest and most prevalent of the decorative arts.
This year about 40 studio potters from across the country will participate in the mega pottery festival and the artwork of 20 various artists will be showcased on each weekend.
The timing of the festival will be from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on all days and the entry will be free of cost.
The festival will have a lot to offer to all those who are interested in learning pottery, probably the oldest invention of mankind as experts’ workshops will also be held during this festival.
Some of the most acclaimed names from the world of pottery including Ruby Jhunjhunwala, Shalan Dere, Gauri Gandhi, Manpreeth Nishter, Veena Chandran and Lidwin Mascarenhas will take part in this thrilling art extravaganza and display their varied creations to the audiences.
