Wakad kid excels in Karate Championship held in Balewadi

Pune: Samarth Hegde, a student of Elpro International School, won Gold as well as Silver in the Karate event of the SFA Championship held in Balewadi Stadium.

As per further information shared by Laxmish Hegde, father of Samarth Hegde, Samarth represented Elpro International School in the recently held SFA Championship 2023 in Pune and won the Gold medal in Kumite and Silver medal in Kata in the Under 9 years age category. The boy attributed his success to coach Tej Pratap who has worked immensely to train him and stood with him to do well.

The coach thanked Samarth’s parents Laxmish and Vidya Hegde and all friends and family who continue to encourage Samarth to excel in Karate.
