A case has been filed at Wakad Police Station against a renowned builder of Pyramid Developers Khemchand Uttamchand Bhojwani, Pyramid Developers & their partners, Prathamesh Developers & their partners and landowner of the housing project.

Dayanand Rawalnath Patil filed the complaint, which claims deceit and fraud in relation to the acquisition of apartments in Tathawade’s The Nook Housing Society.

As per further information from the FIR accessed by Pune Pulse, the builder Khemchand Uttamchand Bhojwani & others are accused of making false promises in the purchase deed, including a banquet hall, skating rink, and badminton court. Nevertheless, despite collecting the required amount from apartment holders, these promised facilities were not provided. The housing project’s essential sewage treatment plant was purportedly built elsewhere than the authorized location.

In addition, Khemchand Uttamchand Bhojwani & others are accused of not accounting for the maintenance fees that were collected for a two-year period from each flat holder, totalling about fifty thousand rupees.

The agreement did not grant possession of the apartments, and no occupancy certificate has been obtained. The ownership of the land and buildings has not yet been transferred to the society, despite its registration.

The Wakad Police Station has booked the accused under Sections 406, 420, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The police are currently investigating the matter.
