A sudden shift in weather conditions has been observed across Maharashtra, prompting authorities to issue a yellow alert for eight districts. After recent unseasonal rainfall, the India Meteorological Department has warned of further changes, particularly on April 6, with thunderstorms expected in parts of the state.

According to the latest forecast, no major alerts have been issued for the Konkan region, where weather is likely to remain dry. However, coastal areas may experience high humidity levels. Temperatures are expected to range between 24–26°C (minimum) and 32–34°C (maximum).

In Western Maharashtra, most areas will remain dry, though isolated light rainfall is likely in Satara. Temperatures in this region are expected to hover between 22–24°C (minimum) and 34–36°C (maximum).

The forecast for North Maharashtra indicates completely dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 21–23°C to 35–37°C, suggesting continued heat conditions. Meanwhile, in Marathwada, districts like Hingoli and Nanded may witness light to moderate rainfall accompanied by gusty winds.

The most significant impact is expected in Vidarbha, where thunderstorms are likely across multiple districts, including Nagpur and Amravati. Wind speeds may reach 40–50 km/h along with lightning activity. Authorities have urged residents and farmers to remain cautious as unstable weather conditions are expected to persist over the next few days.
