Pune : Air India is set to introduce a non-stop service between Kolkata and Bangkok, commencing on October 23, 2023. This new flight will enhance direct connectivity between the two cities, particularly during the festive season. 

As per information, the Air India flight AI322 will depart from Kolkata at 22:00 hours and will arrive in Bangkok at 02:05 the following day. The return flight, AI321, will depart from Bangkok at 03:05 and arrive in Kolkata at 04:10. 

The airline will utilize a narrowbody Airbus family aircraft for this route, offering two-class configurations of Economy and Business. The service will operate six days a week, from Monday to Saturday.

In addition to promoting tourism between Kolkata and Bangkok, this direct service will provide Air India passengers with convenient connections to and from ten popular destinations in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia through an interline partnership with Bangkok Airways. Passengers can seamlessly connect beyond Bangkok. Currently, Air India operates 14 flights per week to Bangkok, with daily non-stop flights from Delhi and Mumbai.

As part of its international expansion plans, Air India recently announced non-stop flights between Kochi and Doha in Qatar. Starting from October 23, the carrier will operate daily non-stop service on this route.

The new flight aims to meet the demand for a convenient and comfortable direct connection between the two cities. Departing at 01:30 local time, flight AI953 will arrive in Doha at 03:45 hrs. 

The return flight, AI954, will depart from Doha at 04:45 hrs and land in Kochi at 11:35 hrs (All Local Time), as stated in the official announcement.
