Chinchwad By-poll: Citizens must exercise their right to vote

Chinchwad: The voting for by-poll elections for the Chinchwad Assembly constituency has started at the various polling stations in Chinchwad constituency, today on February 26th. The constituency will see a three-way contest between BJP candidate Ashwini Jagtap, NCP candidate Nana Kate, and opposition candidate Rahul Kalate.

A total of 510 polling booths will be set up for the 5,68,954 voters registered in the Chinchwad constituency. Of these, 3,02,946 are female voters, 2,65,972 are male voters, and 34 belong to other categories. With an average of 1,116 voters expected to cast their votes at each polling booth, the administration has made extensive arrangements to ensure a smooth and hassle-free polling experience for all voters.

Citizens are being urged to cast their votes at the polling booths assigned to their respective areas. Pimple Saudagar has 36 polling booths, Kaspate Wasti has 13 polling booths, Wakad has 30 polling booths, and Rahatani has 21 polling booths.
