Pune News : By-polls monitored through webcasting in Kasba and Chinchwad constituency
Pune : Voting for Kasba and Chinchwad by poll elections have started in a peaceful manner on Sunday morning, in February 26. The whole election has been monitored by webcasting, said officials from the district administration.
According to information shared by the District Administrative Officers, 135 polling stations in Kasba Peth assembly constituency and 255 polling stations from the Chinchwad assembly constituency to be monitored by using webcasting technology.
District Collector, Dr Rajesh Deshmukh and his entire team have been monitoring the entire election process from the control room.
District Collector, Dr Rajesh Deshmukh said, “We have identified certain polling booths from both Chinchwad and Kasba assembly constituencies for the web casting so that entire process is deeply monitored to avoid any mishaps.’’
A team of the dedicated officers including Dr Rajesh Deshmukh,Sachin Dhole election officer (Chinchwad Assembly), Sneha Kisave Devkate election officer (Kasba Assembly) Shankar Anna Gavade,and other technical officers will be monitoring the entire electoral process from the control room.
