Pune, January 1, 2026: Commuters and commercial drivers in Pune got a New Year boost as CNG prices dropped by ₹1 per kg, lowering the rate to ₹91.50 per kg. Torrent Gas announced that the new price came into effect at midnight on January 1.
The reduction is expected to benefit daily commuters, autorickshaw and cab drivers, and commercial vehicle operators who rely on CNG as an affordable and cleaner fuel option.
Transporters noted that even a small cut helps ease rising operational costs.
The revised rate applies to all Torrent Gas CNG stations across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad.
Officials said fuel prices are periodically reviewed based on supply conditions and input costs.
