On behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Pimpri-Chinchwad, a “Ghar Chalo Abhiyaan” in the city is being implemented from February 4 to convey the works done by both central and state governments to every citizen of the city before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

During this campaign, BJP’s Pimpri Chinchwad City President Shankar Jagtap interacted with the citizens at booth numbers 109, 110 and 111.

The BJP representatives went to 70 houses in Bijlinagar, Shivnagari, Giriraj area etc and gave information about the public utility schemes of the Modi government. The Modi government’s development in ten years, information about various welfare schemes and making India a self-reliant India by 2047 and more was explained to residents. At 9 am, the campaign started with tea-breakfast at the house of booth chief Vivek Chitnis.

Also, the representatives were guided by having dinner at the home of social activist Sambhaji Maral. On this occasion, BJP general secretary Namdev Dhake, former corporator Mona Kulkarni, former ruling party leader Shamrao Walhekar, Bajirao Chinchwade, Sachin Gosavi, Aniket Dalvi, Mahesh Ghule, Mahesh Kalal, Muralidhar Chopde, Jaywant Bhosle etc were present.

BJP Pimpri Chinchwad city president Shankar Jagtap said that the schemes implemented by the central and state governments for service, good governance and the welfare of the poor in the country, the BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the ten years from 2014 to 2024, has developed at a tremendous speed in all sectors of the country. The Modi government has made great achievements in many fields like poor welfare, women empowerment, internal and external security and has raised the name of the country at the international level as well. Similarly, the BJP-ruled states of the country have also made great progress. While facing the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the same story of development of the central and state governments is being conveyed to the grassroots level. For that, the Ghar Chalo campaign is being implemented from 4th to 11th February.

Under the Ghar Chalo Abhiyan, door-to-door interaction with the citizens was conducted to inform about the schemes of the Central and State Governments. Also, citizens are being informed about the schemes of the central and state governments. This campaign is being implemented by every booth worker in Chinchwad assembly constituency. Shankar Jagtap said that he is getting enthusiastic response from Pimpri Chinchwadkars for this.
