Important: PM Narendra Modi's Pune Visit Cancelled Due To Heavy Rains
In a major development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s planned visit to Pune city today on September 26 has been cancelled due to the heavy rain predictions in the city.
During the visit, PM Modi was expected to inaugurate the Civil Court to Swargate metro line of the Pune Metro. Additionally, he was set to lay the foundation and inaugurate development projects worth ₹22,600 crore across the country. A large public gathering had been planned at the SP College grounds for these events.
The Pune city yesterday witnessed heavy rainfall yesterday with the IMD issuing a Red alert.
