Maharashtra: Satara Student Paraglides to College to Avoid Traffic Before Exam, Video Goes Viral
Satara: In a remarkable display of determination, a student from Pasarani village in Wai taluka took to the skies to reach his exam center on time. The viral video, now circulating widely on social media, shows the student paragliding with his college bag, leaving netizens in awe.
The student, identified as Samarth Mahangade, faced an unusual dilemma on exam day. He was in Panchgani for personal work when he realized his exam was scheduled in just 15–20 minutes.
However, massive traffic congestion in the Pasarani Ghat section of the Wai-Panchgani road made a timely arrival impossible.
In a quick-thinking move, adventure sports expert Govind Yewale from GP Adventures stepped in to help. With the support of his team, they decided to paraglide Samarth over the traffic.
Under the supervision of trained instructors, Samarth safely soared above the jam-packed ghat section and landed near his college just in time for his exam.
The video of this airborne journey has captivated social media users, earning praise for Samarth’s determination and the innovative solution provided by the adventure sports team.
The incident also sheds light on the persistent traffic congestion in the Pasarani Ghat area, which continues to be a concern for locals and tourists alike.
