The incident unfolded on Wednesday evening around 5 pm near the Bhor Ghat area in Khopoli, causing significant disruption.
It involved a Shivshahi bus traveling from Alibaug to Pune on the Mumbai Pune Expressway. Sadly, the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to a major traffic jam and ensuing chaos.
Fortunately, there were no reports of serious injuries. The bus, bearing the registration number MH-06BW-4335, veered off course and obstructed all three lanes from Mumbai to Pune. Police stated that over 44 passengers were safely evacuated from the scene. The road remained blocked for more than an hour, causing inconvenience to commuters traveling between the two cities.
