Pune: This year’s Kaas Flower Festival ended fifteen days early due to a deficiency of precipitation in late September and early October. Normally, the festival lasts for two months, but this year it only lasted for 43 days.

As per further information, the number of tourists and the amount of money that came in from citizens visiting the Kaas plateau was twice as high in 2023 as it was in 2022. According to Kaas Plateau officials, one lakh people attended the flower festival this year, and ticket and parking sales brought in Rs 1.5 crore.

According to a member of the Kaas Plateau Executive Committee, September 3, 2023, is when the official flower-blooming season began. Bookings made both online and offline allowed tourists entry. At Kaas Plateau, there was a significant rush on weekends. A batch of 3000 tickets was sold out in minutes every weekend.

He went on to say that the plateau saw about 61 thousand visitors last year, bringing in close to 70 lakhs in revenue. However, Kaas Plateau saw more than 1 lakh visitors this year, and this likely brought in about 1.5 crores in revenue.
