Password for Happiness’ Talk by Didi Krishna Inspires Pune Audience to Cherish and Protect Inner Joy
On Saturday, November 9, 2024, a talk on ‘Password for Happiness’ by Didi Krishna brought warmth and inspiration to the audience gathered at Symbiosis Auditorium in Viman Nagar, Pune. Running from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, the event provided an opportunity to explore the path to lasting happiness for oneself.
The event was organised with the help of Viman Nagar Womens Club and Bridge Builders, the youth group of the Mission. It started with a hi-tea session at 5.30pm. The guests were welcomed by dhol-tashe drums in the local tradition.
Many city and local dignitaries graced the occasion. Didi Krishna was welcomed with aarti and fireworks.
The session began with soulful chants by singer Shashank Ombhase setting a serene tone for the evening.
A heartfelt video of revered Dada J. P. Vaswani was played, who shared his wisdom on Happiness.
Following this, the MC Dr. Geeta Parwani welcomed Didi and the attendees.
Didi engaged the audience by posing a thought-provoking question: “We all have passwords for things we guard carefully, but what’s the one thing we give away very easily?” The answer, she explained, is our happiness. Despite carefully protecting our belongings and secrets, we often let small inconveniences disrupt our joy. “We need a password for our happiness,” she said, “because it’s the most valuable thing we own.” Didi emphasized the importance of claiming ownership of our happiness, rather than allowing it to be dictated by external factors. True happiness, is something we must create and protect ourselves. She also shared practical tips to achieve it.
Didi’s message struck a chord with everyone in attendance, leaving them with a profound reminder: happiness is ours to create and protect. Dr. J G Patil, Director Trustee of Dr. D Y Patil Educational Foundation, expressed his appreciation, calling it “a grand and mesmerizing discourse.” Minal Anand Sarvade, former corporator, praised the event’s peaceful organization and shared, “We have something meaningful to carry back home.” Sheetal Tingre left inspired, saying, “I found my password to happiness. From now on, I’ll say, ‘I am happy, and thank you, God.’”
The evening was a heartfelt journey, one that left each attendee with renewed inspiration to cherish and guard their happiness, knowing it is the most precious gift they possess.
