The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal corporation has created a “Master Plan” to ensure that society owners, washing centers, commercial and industrial facilities, small and large industries, large housing projects, large housing societies, and developers can benefit from it.

Abundant water treated with advanced technology for wastewater is now available for non-drinking uses in Pimpri-Chinchwad. The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has successfully treated around 300 MLD of sewage in various sewage treatment plants through its Sewage Re-cycle… Re-use… formula. Following instructions from the Maharashtra government, the local bodies have made arrangements for the use of this water for purposes other than drinking.

Through a formal agreement, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation will make this water available at a low rate and in abundance. The treated water will be provided to those who need it for non-drinking purposes. This initiative will not only help conserve water but also contribute to environmental conservation.

In many developing countries around the world, advanced technology is being used to treat and reuse wastewater for drinking purposes.

H Bansal, the Deputy Engineer of the Department of Environmental Engineering, has provided his contact details for those who need non-drinking water. You can contact him via mobile at +919922501765 or email at [email protected].
