Pune: Case Filed Against IPS Officer Bhagyashree Navtake In Jalgaon BHR Fraud Â

In a significant development, Pune city police have filed a case against IPS officer Bhagyashree Navtake for fraud. This case was registered at the Bund Garden police station under the direction of the Maharashtra state government’s Home Ministry. The allegations against Navtake date back to 2021 when she was serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in the Pune city police crime branch. During that time, she had registered three cases related to fraud against depositors of Bhai Chand Hira Chand Raisoni (BHR) in Jalgaon. The latest case against her was registered late at night under mysterious circumstances, adding to the intrigue surrounding the proceedings.
Navtake is presently assigned as Commandant of I.R.B-IV, SRPF Gr-XVII, in Chandrapur. The announcement of the case has created quite a commotion within the state police, especially among the Pune police. The conditions under which the case was registered and the participation of the Home Department have raised alarms and initiated conversations in law enforcement circles.
