The exact cause of the fire incident is not known. Also the extent of the damage caused by the fire is not yet disclosed.

Harish Shroff, Director, Marketing and Sales, Nyati Group on the incident stated, “This is a rather an unfortunate incident that happened. We would like to inform you that Nyati Empress has all the fire compliances in place. The incident took place because of an external welding vendor who was working on behalf of a particular office owner within the premises. The fire alarm system in place immediately kicked off within seconds, containing the fire to only 1 unit. Both the Nyati Team and the Fire Brigade responded swiftly to manage the incident, ensuring that there were no casualties. We have initiated legal action against the said vendor.”
