On January 27 afternoon a sambar deer was attacked by some stray dogs in Nesave village of Maval taluka, this information was given by Kiran Shirsat, a resident of Maval Taluka to Nilesh Garade, President of wildlife rescuer of Maval and member Chandrakant Bombale.

As soon as the team received information about the incident, rescue team members Chandrakant Bombale and Jigar Solanki with forest guard Chavan reached the spot. A female sambar deer was lying in the bushes. Fortunately, the deer did not have any severe injuries, the deer was safely rescued and was sent to ResQ charitable trust, Pune under the guidance of range forest officer Sushil Mantavar.

Vishal Shirsat, Anil Shirsat, Ramdas Shirsat, Bharat Shirsat, Datta Shirsat, Gulab Shirsat, Suraj Shirsat, Sagar Shirsat all these villagers helped during the whole rescue operation.
