In a remarkable display of endurance and determination, four young athletes from Pune’s Dream’Z Skating Club have etched their names in the record books by establishing a new world record for the “Fastest 100m on Roller Skating Using Two Wheels” during an intense 53-hour continuous skating marathon.

The historic attempt, organized by the Sivaganga Skating Club in Belgaum, Karnataka, saw the skaters battle not just physical exhaustion but also challenging weather conditions as they persevered through heavy rain and strong winds to complete their record-breaking feat.

The four record-setters, all students from Pune schools, are:

The successful completion of this world record attempt marks the first time such an achievement has been accomplished in India, bringing national pride to Maharashtra’s sporting community.

The athletes’ achievement was made possible under the expert guidance of club coaches Vaibhav Bilgi, Rahul Bilgi, Suraj Dixit, and Vandana Bilgi, whose training regimen prepared the young skaters for this extraordinary physical and mental challenge.

This accomplishment not only sets a new global benchmark in roller skating but also highlights the growing talent and potential of young Indian athletes on the international sporting stage.
