Repair Works Cause Closure of Five Swimming Pools in Pimpri Chinchwad

Repair works have rendered five out of the 13 swimming pools within the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) limits non-operational. The closure of these pools has sparked dissatisfaction among regular swimmers, who find themselves inconvenienced by the prolonged shutdown.

The repair efforts undertaken by the municipal corporation have resulted in an extended closure period for these swimming facilities. However, the situation is further compounded by the PCMC’s inability to hand over management to private entities due to the prevailing model code of conduct in light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
