Riddhi Siddhi Heights society in Wakad installs 60 kWh rooftop solar panels project

On January 26, Riddhi Siddhi Heights co-operative housing society, Wakad Pune has successfully implemented a 60 kWh solar Roof Top power generation project for society common electricity usages.

The annual electricity bill of common area electricity is around Rs 13 to 15 lakhs which is the one of the biggest amounts of annual operational maintenance. With this solar project it will help them to reduce operational maintenance cost by 25 to 30 percent. It will directly benefit residents in terms of reduction in monthly maintenance.

This project was possible due to the cooperation from the members. “Solar power generation project is the costly project for the society which the society committee has well planned and executed without additional financial burden to society members. To implement this dream project, the society committee has spent funds very carefully on day to day operations and saved a good corpus amount in just 2.5 years after taking the handover of society from the builder in 2018.

Vishal Titre, Chairman of the society said that all our committee members are very much committed and mindful to always do something for society members and for the environment. Secretary Nikhil Gawande and Treasurer Mahesh Neve thanked the residents for their cooperation towards environment friendly projects.
