Rotary Club Of Poona holds blood donation camp 

To commemorate the Prakash Purabh of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Annual Blood Donation Camp, was organized by the Rotary Club of Poona in collaboration with various organizations including the Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar Synergy project of Rotary Club of Poona, Inner Wheel Club of Pune, Round Table, and WSCC. 

The event took place at the Guru Nanak Medical Foundation, located within the premises of Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar.The primary objective of this blood donation camp was to address the acute blood shortage in the city of Pune. We are delighted to inform you that six blood banks were called upon, and we tried fulfilling requirements satisfactorily. 

A total of 451 units of blood were generously donated by devotees from all walks of life, showcasing their selfless commitment to saving lives. 

The camp was inaugurated by Sudhir Bukkey, Jt Charity Commissioner and Kshirsagar, District Judge, Pune, who graced the event with their presence. We were also honored to welcome Lt Gen Manjit, Chief of Staff, HQ S Command, and his wife Subeen Arrora, Maj Gen Bhupesh Goyal, Commandant Command Hospital, Brig Sud, Commandant ALC, Subhakant Sahu, Commissioner of Income Tax, Pune, Sandeep Singh Gill (IPS), DCP Zone 1, Samntani Patil, DCP Cantonment and other eminent Personalities who visited the camp and expressed their support for this noble cause.


The highlight of the day was the visit by LT Gen A K Singh, GOC-In-C, Southern Command, who commended the Rotary Club of Poona for their outstanding initiative in his address to the Sangat. He also inquired President Narendra about the source of energy that RC Poona members draw from, acknowledging their dedication and enthusiasm.

On the occasion of Prakash Purab of  Zahir peer jagat guru baba Guru Nansk Devji Maharaj and With Wahegurujis kripa she was appreciated and recognized  by Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar Pune Camp for her work.
