Watch: Pune Car’s Rear Dashboard Dolls Give Traffic a Spine-Chilling Twist
Car decorations are a common sight, from “Baby on Board” signs to soft toys, small flags, and spiritual symbols like “Om.” But one Pune occupant recently pushed the idea into a whole new, eerie territory.
Instead of the usual plushies, this car featured seven eerily realistic dolls lined up neatly across the rear dashboard. A biker spotted the unusual scene and shared it on Instagram, humorously captioning it, “These are the children of Annabelle and Tatya Vinchu,” referencing two well-known horror characters.
The truly unsettling—and fascinating—part was what happened when the driver pressed the brakes. Each doll’s face had built-in red lights that turned on with the brake, creating a spine-chilling effect as if the dolls themselves were glowing in anger or mischief. The sight was both horrifying and oddly amusing, giving anyone following the car a mix of a mini heart attack and a laugh at the same time.
Online reactions poured in quickly. One viewer commented, “I would immediately take a U-turn after seeing this,” while another said, “Imagine stopping behind this at a signal.” Some were genuinely spooked: “This would give me a mini heart attack at night,” remarked one, while another added, “These dolls look very scary.” Others appreciated the humor in the bizarre scene: “Pune never disappoints when it comes to unique surprises,” and “Why does this look straight out of a horror movie?”
