What The Complaint Alleges

According to the complainant, the alleged misconduct began after she joined the organisation in 2025 during her training period.

She alleged that colleagues repeatedly asked personal questions such as, “Is it a love marriage or arranged marriage?” and made inappropriate remarks about her husband and personal life.

The complainant also said one colleague gave her an unwanted nickname and would call her “Player” whenever she entered the office.

Recalling one incident, she alleged, “I was wearing a saree. While walking through the lobby, I suddenly felt someone pull my pallu. When I turned around, he was holding it and smiling.”

She further claimed another accused repeatedly harassed her physically and verbally, saying, “Do you like me? I really like you.”

According to the complaint, she was also told, “I am more handsome than your husband.”

Religious Remarks Also Alleged

The woman stated that derogatory comments were made about her faith and religious beliefs, which deeply hurt her sentiments.

She said she initially remained silent because she feared losing her job.

Wider Probe Underway

The Nashik case has expanded after multiple women reportedly came forward with complaints involving harassment, coercion and other serious allegations.

Police have formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) and registered multiple FIRs. Reports state that eight people, including a woman operations manager, have been arrested in connection with the wider case.

TCS Response

TCS has said it follows a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment, misconduct and coercion.

The company also stated that employees named in complaints have been suspended pending inquiry.

Why This Case Matters

The case has renewed focus on workplace safety, internal complaint systems and the need for women employees to report concerns without fear.
