Ganeshotsav Travel: Pune To See 325 Additional Buses By MSRTC To Konkan
September 3, 2024
Ganeshotsav is just four days away, and the entire nation is gearing up for the celebrations. As in previous years, the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has made arrangements for additional buses to accommodate passengers traveling to Konkan for the festival.
A total of around 5,000 buses will be deployed across the state, with 325 specifically from Pune. MSRTC has stated that they will add more buses if there is a surge in crowding at the bus stations. Passengers have already begun booking their tickets both online and at the depots.
Starting Wednesday, September 4, buses will be available for departure to destinations like Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, and other cities from Pune. It is expected that Thursday, September 5, will see the highest number of departures, with around 200 buses scheduled to leave from Swargate station. Additionally, 75 buses will depart from Vallabhnagar Station, while 250 buses will be dispatched from Swargate Station. Less regular used routes will also have buses sent to Konkan to help manage the demand.
