PUNE: Voting for the Maharashtra Assembly elections began at 7 AM today, with polling stations witnessing steady voter participation throughout the morning. As of 1 PM, Pune district recorded a voter turnout of 29.03%, reflecting an active response from citizens across urban and rural areas. Â
The district administration ensured smooth conduct of the elections, with arrangements in place for efficient polling and voter convenience. Reports indicate that voters began arriving early, with a mix of senior citizens, working professionals, and first-time voters participating enthusiastically.
