Pimpri : Journalists should also be given Covid19 vaccination on priority

After nurses, doctors, police, and health workers’, journalists have been equally working hard and hence they too deserve to be given the Covid19 vaccination free of cost. 

Chinchwad Constituency MLA Laxman Jagtap wrote a letter to the Minister for state health department, Rajesh Tope. 

In his letter he stated, “Journalists from across the state have been working ever since Covid19 hit our country. They must also be given free Covid19 vaccination. The government announced vaccination for people above 60 years and 45 years with comorbidity and other front line workers. But there has been no steps taken to include Journalists in this vaccination program. This should also be taken on priority. Journalists have been working 24*7 and even in several critical areas where the number of Covid19 patients are high. Hence they deserve to be given vaccination on priority.”
